Brincos Artemisia – Vermeil

Os Brincos Artemisia são pequenas esculturas de forma feminina inspiradas na deusa Vênus e nas obras do renascentismo com a incorporação de aspectos do período da Art Nouveau, como a fluidez das formas e os contornos acentuados. Aqui temos uma ode à sexualidade e beleza femininas.

O nome foi dado devido à pintora Artemisia Gentileschi, pintora italiana do século XVII  que ficou conhecida por retratar especialmente figuras femininas e por ser a primeira mulher a integrar a academia de pintura de Florença.

Artemisia Earrings are small sculptures of a feminine form inspired by the goddess Venus and the Renaissance pieces,  incorporating aspects from the Art Nouveau period, such as the fluidity of forms and accentuated contours. An ode to female sexuality and beauty.

The name was given to the painter Artemisia Gentileschi, which was a 17th century Italian painter who became known for portraying female figures and for being the first woman to join the academy of painting in Florence.

A Coleção IV | IV Collection

A Coleção IV tem suas bases no movimento artístico e social da Art Nouveau. O movimento data de 1890-1920 e tem por filosofia o resgate da beleza vista na sua forma mais elementar: na natureza e na forma feminina.

Contextualizando, a Art Nouveau nasceu em um período de mudanças sociais, como a criação de novos meios de ver a vida, como os filmes e fotografias e a Revolução Industrial. Assim, a Art Nouveau se apresenta como um contramovimento à industrialização, contra a perda da individualidade e da beleza.

Hoje – em 2020, a cem anos do movimento – a filosofia da Art Nouveau nos é atual: vemos uma necessidade imediata de desacelerar a industrialização, a nós mesmo e também o consumo excessivo.

A POES encontrou no movimento a inspiração para uma coleção rica em formas femininas e com acenos à joalheira Art Nouveau, porém de uma maneira reinterpretada ao estilo de vida e moda atual.

A filosofia do movimento é também nosso motriz. Acreditamos na necessidade de uma dose diária de beleza e arte, bem como no consumo consciente através de bens duráveis e de estilo atemporal.

Assim, Coleção IV não segue qualquer tendência contemporânea. Ela segue a tendência mais antiga nos acessórios: a nossa necessidade por beleza e a busca por diferenciação.

The Collection IV is based on the Art Nouveau artistic and social movement. The movement dates from 1890-1920 and has as a philosophy the rescue of beauty in its most elementary form: nature and the feminine form.

Art Nouveau was born in a rapid social changes period where people discovered new ways of seeing  life (films and photographs) meanwhile living through the beauty and evil of the Industrial Revolution. Art Nouveau presents itself as a countermovement to industrialization fighting against the loss of individuality and beauty.

Nowadays, one hundred years from the movement, Art Nouveau’s philosophy is current: we see an immediate need to slow down industrialization, ourselves and excessive consumption.

POES found in the movement the inspiration for a collection rich in feminine forms and with nods to the Art Nouveau jewelry but reinterpreted to the contemporary lifestyle and fashion.

The philosophy of the movement is also our inspiration to our’s brand philosophy. We believe in the need for a daily dose of beauty and art, as well as conscious consumption through durable goods and timeless style.

Collection IV does not follow any contemporary trend. It follows the oldest trend in accessories: our need for beauty and our seek for differentiation.
